Organized by bumblinbuzbee, in conjunction with The Collab Hub
Otter & Q are a queer, trans, disabled couple facing eviction. Due to Q's SSDI payments getting almost entirely slashed, along with a dangerous flare of Q's disabilities preventing him from doordashing, they have been entirely reliant on Otter's income for bills. They were unable to make March's rent initially, and due to Q being admitted to the hospital for a week, Otter had missed days of work on top of the couple's other financial hardships they were already facing. This fundraiser was organized to try to assist them with their rent. Thanks to the generosity of community members, along with help from Otter's parents, March and April's rents have been covered. We are now in the process of trying to raise the amount for May's rent, which is $1,500. If we manage to raise anything past that, it will go to helping with late fees and other bills to try to help Otter and Q stabilize. To note:
Otter's parents were able to cover April's rent, so $490 out of the $540 that we raised for April will be rolling over to help pay for May. However, financial help from Otter's parents has been officially depleted, so now Otter and Q are entirely dependent on help from the community and this fundraiser.
May Rent Goal: $490/$1,500

Q (AKA Cam) is a disabled trans content creator. Along with streaming on Twitch, he is also a drag performer, cosplayer, voice actor, artist, and self published author.
Otter (AKA Luna) is a disabled genderfluid content creator and freelance illustrator. She does occasional Twitch streams, as well as amateur voice acting, software testing, and cosplay.
Q and Otter both work with the Sugar Pink Café, a traveling and performing maid cafe. Sugar Pink Café hosts events at cons across Arizona, and donates 30% of their proceeds to charity.

Original Goal: The original goal of the fundraiser for March's rent was $1,500, but between Otter's parents helping and paychecks coming through, the goal was able to be lowered to $700.Update 4/3/2026: Q spent a week in the hospital, from the evening of the 23rd to the afternoon of the 30th. He was released at this point to continue recovery at home, but late night on April 2nd he had to be readmitted again.Otter's parents were able to partially help with March's rent, and in addition to what the fundraiser has already raised, it was enough to cover all but (an estimated) $217. With the partial payment from Otter's parents, their landlord gave them a little extra time to pay off the rest. The fundraiser pays out on the 6th, so the new goal has been updated to reflect the remainder of the rent cost + a little extra since the amount for the remainder of the rent is only an estimate at this time. After we cover March's rent, we will be updating the campaign to help with April's rent and also to try to help Otter and Q stabilize financially in general.Update 4/7/2026: Q was released from the hospital again on the evening of the 6th. The fundraiser platform we use also gave a partial payout of $370 to Otter, and should be paying out the rest on the 12th. The full goal was met for March's rent, so as long as their landlord is patient (fingers crossed), they will be able to pay that month's rent in full on the 12th.I am now organizing fundraising efforts for April's rent.Update 4/16/2026: They got hit with some pretty heavy late fees, but after the fundraiser payed out Q and Otter were able to pay their rent for March!
March Rent Completed: $730/$700
Update 5/1/2026: On April 30th Q and Otter's landlord contacted them and let them know that if they didn't pay the full rent by the end of the day, he would be filing for eviction. After a bit of a struggle, Otter was able to get help from her parents to pay April's rent. Going forward, it's unlikely they will be able to help again.Q and Otter have found a cheaper place to move into once their lease is up in June, and are still pursuing an appeal to SSDI. In the meantime, they will need help paying May's rent. $490 of the $540 raised for April will be rolling over to be put towards May, with payout hitting on the 4th.
